About the Role

As the product leaders of Frame.io, it is our job to ship the right product, to ship it to the high standards we demand, and to track its success after launch. We understand that a product isn't finished when it goes out the door.

As a Group Product Manager for our Mobile Apps squad, we need you to craft amazing mobile product experiences that delight our customers. You deeply understand and embody the voice of the customer, which helps you deliver a product and brand of remarkable quality in collaboration with design, engineering and marketing. Your contributions will be toward a wide spectrum of product initiatives including user experience design, solution honing, growth strategy, customer research, and product marketing.

In this role, you'll help us build the future of video workflows, both inside our own product and across the larger ecosystem of apps with which we work.


Requirements

  • Experience: You have 6+ years of experience PMing iOS/Android apps
  • Management: You have 2+ years of experience hiring, managing, and developing high-performing product managers 
  • Communication: You understand topics in detail. You communicate clearly and with precision, both in writing and in person 
  • Grit: You chase challenging goals with passion and determination 
  • Attention to Detail: You exercise astonishing attention for detail in everything that you do.
  • Proactively positive: You demonstrate care and awareness for how your actions and words make others feel. You find ways to move forward from challenges stronger and happier. You chose to interpret situations positively rather than negatively 
  • Execution: You can take large, complex problems and work with your team to convert them into manageable pieces. You are a beacon of dependability.  
  • Hands-on: You're excited to dive into any problem and dig the hole 
  • Efficient: You move quickly and effectively, and always find ways to achieve more 
  • Location: We're open to you joining us in our New York office, or from a home office anywhere in North America

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage our two iOS squads. Coach them. Advocate for them. Unblock them. Celebrate them. Change the trajectory of their careers by helping them expand their impact each and every day
  • Hire and mentor world-class product managers including providing coaching and career guidance 
  • Define the roadmap and deliver an exceptional app. Once a feature ships, you'll pay close attention to the impact and iterate towards a successful outcome.
  • Follow projects from inception through implementation to help ensure they are on time and of remarkable quality
  • Partner closely with engineering & design and delight teams to ship incredible features and products
