We are launching a stealth venture in the health space, with the mission to build a patient acquisition & discovery platform for complementary medicine providers. We scalably connect providers with specific expertise and patients with specific health needs through condition-specific branded sites under the umbrella of a single platform infrastructure. 

About The Job 

As the Head of Product of this stealth venture, you will lead the development of a venture-backed interdisciplinary complementary medicine platform. This role will report directly to stealth venture's CEO. 


What you’ll do:

  • Be a member of the founding team, owning the creation and management of the product organization and StealthCo’s product roadmap
  • Define the Product organization’s OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), contributing to the overall success of StealthCo’s culture and growth
  • Create and own the product organization’s hiring roadmap; defining areas of product ownership for and later growing and managing a team of future Product Managers (functional areas could include, but are not limited to: core product PMs; growth, acquisition, experimentation PMs; data, business intelligence PMs)
  • Define the product organization’s workflows and standards of practice
  • Work cross-functionally with other organization leaders, such as marketing and operations, to translate organizational needs into the product roadmap
  • Partner with strong engineering, design, and analytics counterparts, acting as a contributor and thought leader to drive the successful execution of the product vision
  • Build a product organization that relies on both qualitative and quantitative feedback loops, as well as a strong data infrastructure and data-driven product culture
  • Manage the product organization’s budget, also informing build vs buy technology decisions


What you’ll need:

  • Background
    • 10+ years of senior product management experience, preferably at data-driven, tech-enabled, digital SaaS product company; you understand how to build digital consumer products and how to lead product managers to fulfill a company vision 
    • Senior product management experience should include 5+ years managing five or more product managers, preferably experience managing junior and senior product managers; you understand how to motivate employees, build team culture, and run a productive product organization
    • A plus if you have hands-on engineering experience (maybe even were an engineer in a previous life); also a plus if you have a computer science or software engineering major/minor or masters
    • A plus if you are entrepreneurial and/or can showcase personal or professional projects you have executed
  • Experience
    • Proven ability to take a digital product from conception to reality, including experience defining KPIs for your roadmap and team
    • Proven product leadership track record; your former or current direct reports speak highly of you
    • Track record of managing a team of 10+ people
    • Experience managing budget and working cross-functionally to make productive resourcing decisions and tradeoffs 
    • Natural leadership skills and an ability to inspire and motivate a team
    • Excellent communication skills: a successful candidate will have emotional intelligence, and should be diplomatic, charismatic, persuasive, and credible to a wide variety of audiences, both internal and external
    • Should be both a user-centric product builder, as well as a data-driven analytical thinker
    • High energy, self-direction, stamina, and possessing a strong work ethic

Evaluates pros and cons, risks and benefits of different solution options. Making sense of complex, high-quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to solve problems
