Jackpocket is the first mobile lottery app in the U.S. that offers players a secure way to order official state lottery tickets, such as Powerball, Mega Millions, and more, via their smartphones. Jackpocket is seeking a Product Analyst to lead all analytical activities for our product team. In this role you will dive deeply into product data and deliver key insights and recommendations to identify inefficiencies and improve performance as well as drive product changes and prioritization of new initiatives. You will also measure the impact and performance of product changes and new features and conduct predictive analysis to support critical business decisions related to the product.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain key funnels, analysis, reports, and dashboards for the product team
• Perform analytical deep dives into product data to identify inefficiencies and make recommendations to improve performance
• Conduct predictive quantitative analysis to measure the potential of future product changes and features to help inform prioritization and roadmapping decisions
• Analyze the potential impact of third party products and integrations to support decision making
• Conduct A/B testing and present statistically significant conclusions
• Track and measure newly released features and provide recommendations for future iterations
• Mine data for actionable insights
• Present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner
• Work with external partners to deliver or ingest data
• Ensure data integrity at all times

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in an analytics role working with product data
• Highly proficient in SQL with a natural inclination for rigorous self-QA
• Expert level proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and BI/data visualization tools
• Proven track record taking ownership of analytics projects in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter who can collaborate across functions successfully 
• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form; intellectually curious, driven, and a creative problem-solver

Preferred Qualifications

• Looker experience (both development of LookML and creation of dashboards)
• Google Cloud experience (BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage)
• Experience with a mobile first, real money gaming product 
• Experience in a start-up environment
• Working knowledge of statistical techniques (regression, k-means clustering, PCA)
