Product Lead (Patient Team)
The Role
Cedar is improving the healthcare financial experience. Our technology improves the overall experience of patient billing and engagement, enabling providers to thrive in a rapidly changing environment while helping patients understand the cost of their care. We currently divide our product into three pillars based on primary user: Patient, Provider, and Cedar.
Cedar is looking for a Product Lead to be accountable for the development and strategy of our Patient pillar. The Patient pillar encompasses multiple teams that manage the full post-visit patient experience from the initial engagement to the resolution of the balance. At a high level, the role will involve:
- Product development through the direct coordination with at least one development team to execute on your vision.
- Client-facing presentations through the support of our commercial teams with the sale of new prospects or upsell of existing clients.
- Strategy through the definition of a strategic vision for the Patient Pillar.
Responsibilities
- Own and develop a strategic vision for our core Patient offering that aligns with our overall Product strategy.
- Guide the recurring planning process for your Pillar and coordinate across all teams. within that pillar.
- Coordinate with a development team to execute on a portion of your vision.
- Manage other PMs to be accountable for other aspects of Patient pillar development.
- Coordinate with the Product Leads of the other pillars and the Head of Product to ensure alignment.
- Partner closely with senior commercial leaders to understand larger market trends and pain points.
- Support the sale of large healthcare enterprises by being the expert on Cedar’s Patient offering and the longer term direction for that offering.
- Contribute to the creation of our annual company level strategy plan.
- Help us scale the company and culture.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of product management experience
- Experience overseeing a critical product domain or standalone product offering
- Experience motivating multiple teams toward a unified vision or objective
- Effective communicator to both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and data driven approach
- Based in or willing to relocate to NYC
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience managing other product managers
- Exposure to enterprise sales
- Experience with SQL or other analytical tools
- Prior knowledge of the healthcare space (providers, insurance companies, tech companies…), specifically within the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) space
