Product Manager, Spotlight & Content Moderation at Snap Inc.

We’re looking for a Product Manager for Spotlight & Content Moderation. As PM of Content Moderation, you will build and ship innovative products by working with cross-functional leaders in engineering, data science, operations, and policy. You will also own critical platform services such as ML systems, review tools, and scale Snap’s content inventory in line with our community guidelines. This is a very critical, influential and strategic role within the Moderation team.
What you’ll do:
Develop goals, strategy and roadmaps for the Spotlight & Content moderation area
Set metrics that inform the success and impact of moderation efforts
Lead cross-functional teams to build systems to proactively detect, report & mitigate moderation issues
Work closely with content moderation engineering team to drive day-to-day execution against OKRs
Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional partners in Product, Customer Operations, Legal, Engineering, and Data Science.
Closely monitor and measure results of all products, features and infrastructure improvements
Develop and present go-forward recommendations with key stakeholders
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to deliver exceptional results in an intense but collaborative and kind environment
Ability to work cross collaborate with engineers, policy, data scientists, and other cross-functional teams
Excellent critical thinking skills and a proven ability to solve challenging problems
Ability to make timely decisions without clear direction or all the information at all times
BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
4+ years of product management, data science or program management experience at a technology company
Experience building products for content moderation - review systems, integrity
Experience building large scale review tools and infrastructure
Experience with ML systems, Spam and Abuse detection and Trust & Safety
