The Role
Do you love data and tech and get excited by the opportunity to accelerate data-driven product development? If so, we are looking for you to support us building our new Product Ops function at Templafy. Product Ops is the latest best-practice in the world’s leading tech companies, providing the right product data, tools, and streamlined processes for the Product team in support of building world-class products. You will be identifying opportunities to drive operational excellence, building the processes for the new function, and implementing the solutions. You will define how we gather and work with user analytics and other key product health and wealth metrics, while identifying key insights to drive decision making. As the team is new, there will be plenty of opportunities to take on varied projects in Product, working across multiple teams and departments.
The Team
The Product Ops Manager will report to the Director of Product Insights & Operations. Product Insights & Operations is a newly formed team reporting to the Chief Product Officer and is responsible for market and competitive intelligence, Voice Of Customer programs, Product development processes, tools and metrics, and the development of a commercial data product. The team collaborates regularly with the rest of the Product organization, along with the Engineering and Commercial departments at Templafy.
Responsibilities
- Create the best practices for the use and implementation of product tools and enable product managers and product owners on their use to streamline product development.
- Collaborate with product leaders to identify, capture, review and analyze internal KPIs to improve Product operations and alignment to organizational outcomes.
- Work with business owners to define/confirm requirements for cross-department reporting of business, customer and product usage metrics.
- Take lead on various projects in the Product organization, working with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Operations.
Profile
- Data-driven and analytical.
- 3-5 years experience with product management, product operations or similar roles.
- Knowledge of agile methodology and processes.
- Extensive experience with project management and stakeholder management.
- Extensive experience with systematic problem solving.
- Technical acumen and the ability to transform business and user needs into technical features.
- Creative mindset and the motivation to take our product to the next level.
- Preferred experience with aha!, Amplitude and Notion or similar tools.
