The Product Manager is the owner of a product or set of products. They are responsible for understanding the customer problems their product solves, building the right things to solve that and other customer problems, and inspiring and helping the team execute against it.

Bluecore is looking for a Senior Product Manager who has experienced running and building products that integrate into complex data ecosystems and scale to processing billions of messages. This is an exciting opportunity for a Product leader to help scale the core platform and complement all the Bluecore product lines.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full product life cycle for the data and email platform teams owning strategy, requirements, execution and enabling the go-to-market adoption
  • Requirements and Strategy: Be an expert in email and data management, identify market opportunities and define platform vision and strategy for the company
  • Go-to Product Technical Expert: Troubleshoot production-escalation issues with your strong software and technical skills. Plus, train internal and external customers on the Bluecore platform scales and integrates with the marketing ecosystem
  • Lead cross-functional team: Work collaboratively with team members across all departments including Engineering, Product, Product Marketing, Analytics, Marketing, Sales, Business Development, and Data Science.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • 6+ years of Product Management experience
  • Hands on Technical Product Management experience in
  • -Scaled architectures that process billions of events

    -Service oriented architectures on a SaaS platform

    -Building solutions on Cloud infrastructure platforms

    -Shipping multiple enterprise software B2B products

  • Ideally possessing experience serving as a Software Engineer working on infrastructure
  • Experience & knowledge with Agile & Scrum development methodologies
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and market thinking skills
  • Possesses a natural empathy for the user
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit & ability to work independently in an undefined space
  • Experience in marketing technologies is a plus
  • Experience in email and eCommerce technologies is a plus
