WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

The Skimm'bassador Lead will own theSkimm's most strategic asset. You are responsible for the growth, retention, and monetization of a unique program that exists nowhere else. You will take an engaged community and productize, scale, retain, and monetize it. You need to be able to work with and lead product, design, tech, and community teams around the singular focus of one of our company's greatest growth and engagement engines.

You need to think users first. This is not a community manager job. This is not a product manager job. You are entering a community that is self-protective and passionate and you need to respect that and see the enormous opportunity that presents. If we gave you a phone, a laptop, and a Skimm shirt, you could grow this audience. If we added an engineer to that mix, you could transform this audience's experience with theSkimm.

You will: 

  • Own the health of the Skimm'bassador program and bring the program to market for acquisition as well as retention.
  • Think of the program as a product, and develop a user experience and suite of products that support the community as such. 
  • Identify, create, launch and execute monetization streams around the Skimm'bassador program, working closely with the Founders, Sales, and Business leads.
WHAT YOU NEED
  • This is not an entry level position. You must have a minimum of 4-7 years experience scaling a consumer facing product or community.
  • Proven ability and experience managing, retaining and leading a team that understands a highly sought after target demographic.
  • Ability to thrive in an early stage, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Exceptional ability to be community and user centric. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
