Vice President Product, Programmatic

As the leader of our Programmatic product vertical, you will be leading a highly visible, dynamic, and fast growing area of the business. Our proprietary solutions enable advertisers, ranging in all sizes across the globe, to optimize billions of bids a day for brand safety, suitability, viewability, fraud, and contextual alongside accessing corresponding reporting and insights solutions. The VP Product, Programmatic will be responsible for leading our Programmatic product teams, owning product vision and strategy, and driving value creation throughout our industry-leading and highly visible programmatic optimization and reporting products across our integrations (e.g. Google, Amazon, Trade Desk). The Product Manager will also collaborate closely with senior level internal and external stakeholders to strengthen our partnerships alongside evangelizing and delivering our best in class solutions.
What you’ll get to do:
- Be the visible evangelist and expert for IAS’ Programmatic products internally and externally
- Establish global programmatic product strategy, roadmaps, and corresponding GTMs to drive value and competitive differentiation in market
- Conduct market research and validation via engaging directly with customers, partners, internal stakeholders, and industry bodies to gather data and correspondingly identify and act on commercial opportunities
- Build strong understanding of competitive offerings and points of differentiation
- Analyze, translate, and incorporate changes in global privacy / cookie landscape into strategic market opportunities for our privacy compliant targeting and optimization suite of solutions
- Work collaboratively with cross functional leaders in engineering, sales, business development, marketing, and ops to drive the product strategy and deliver tangible growth and results to the business
- Lead highly collaborative cross-functional r&d teams to oversee the planning, design, and development of products from initiation decision through release and future iterations
- Recruit, hire, lead, and promote top product talent alongside supporting collaboration, risk-taking, development and growth within teams
You should apply if you have most of this:
- BA or BS degree in CS or related technical or engineering discipline or equivalent experience indicating strong technical background; MBA background optional
- 10+ years of product management/leadership experience; 5+ ad product or monetization product along with people management experience is ideal
- Domain expertise in programmatic advertising (DSP, DMP, SSP), advertising/marketing technology solutions, formats (display, digital video/OTT, mobile, native), and corresponding business models within digital advertising
- Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively with business and technology leaders within the company as well as at customer/partner organizations
- Outstanding technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate, influence, and lead cross-functionally across engineering, data science, and product teams
- Deep intellectual curiosity, passion for learning new technology, able to identify market trends
- Experience within an Agile product development environment with an emphasis on continuous improvement
- Experience in working with APIs and related development technologies
