About GameChanger:

We believe in the life-changing impact youth sports have on and off the field because they encourage leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and confidence—important life lessons that have the power to propel our youth toward meaningful futures. We recognize that without coaches, parents, and volunteers, organized youth sports could not exist. By building the first and best place to experience the youth sports moments important to our community, we are helping families elevate the next generation through youth sports.

So if you love sports and their community-building potential, or building cool products is your sport, GameChanger is the team for you. We are a remote-first, dynamic tech company based in New York City, and we are solving some of the biggest challenges in youth sports today.

The Position:

GameChanger is looking for a Program Manager, Compliance & Privacy Operations to translate legal and regulatory requirements into scalable processes across our product and business operations. You will partner closely with Legal, Product, Engineering, and Operations to embed compliance into how teams build, launch, and manage products. You will focus on operationalizing privacy, platform safety, and regulatory requirements, ensuring teams can move quickly while managing risk appropriately. You will sit at the intersection of legal, product, and operations, with direct impact on how GameChanger scales responsibly. You will report to the Sr. Director, Assistant General Counsel at DICK’S Sporting Goods while sitting onsite at GameChanger’s office in New York City.

What You’ll Do:

  • Translate legal and regulatory requirements (privacy, platform safety, marketing compliance) into clear workflows, controls, and operational processes.

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to embed compliance into product development, including how data is collected, used, stored, and governed.

  • Build and scale repeatable compliance systems, including policies, documentation, and internal frameworks that support consistent execution.

  • Support risk assessment and decision-making, helping teams understand tradeoffs and move forward with clear guidance.

  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Legal, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to ensure consistent understanding and adoption of compliance practices.

  • Monitor evolving regulations (e.g., privacy, youth safety) and update processes and tools to maintain compliance.

Who You Are:

  • 5–7 years of experience in compliance, privacy, trust & safety, risk operations, or related roles.

  • Experience working with data privacy regulations (e.g., CCPA/CPRA, COPPA, or similar frameworks).

  • Experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams to implement requirements within product or platform workflows.

  • Experience designing and implementing operational processes, controls, or systems at scale.

  • Experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.

  • Familiarity with data governance, compliance tooling, or content/platform safety frameworks is a plus.

Perks:

  • Work from our well-furnished, modern office in Manhattan, NY.

  • Full health benefits - medical, dental, vision, prescription, FSA, HRA, HSA, and coverage for family/dependents.

  • Retirement savings - Traditional and Roth 401K plans are offered through Vanguard, with an immediate company match.

  • Life insurance - basic life, supplemental life, and dependent life.

  • Disability leave - short-term disability and long-term disability.

  • Company paid parental leave

  • Family building benefits offered through Progyny.

  • DICK'S Sporting Goods and their family of brands teammate discount.

The target salary range for this position is between $130,000 and $150,000. This is part of a total compensation package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by several factors including experience, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We constantly review all teammate pay to ensure a great compensation package that is fair and equal across the board.
