Job Description:
The Project Manager is responsible for initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing CSI internal, departmental, and customer‑facing projects for both new and existing customers. This role holds overall accountability for the successful delivery of assigned projects. The Project Manager typically manages one or more smaller‑scoped or less complex projects. Assigned projects are often internal and/or repeatable in nature.
Key Responsibilities
Initiation
Drive effective handoff from the project sponsor
Conduct and facilitate project kick‑off meetings
Planning
Review standard project plans and refine them as needed based on project complexity, risk, and impact
Ensure all required project roles are assigned and understood by the team
Review key project plan highlights with the customer
Discuss critical success factors and gain customer alignment and commitment
Execution
Establish initial project setup and governance
Communicate regularly with project teams to ensure progress remains on track
Proactively identify, track, and manage project issues and risks
Monitoring & Controlling
Regularly review project plans and performance indicators to assess status
Monitor time reporting to ensure work performed aligns with project plans
Lead recurring internal and external status meetings
Provide clear, timely written project status reports
Escalate risks and issues in a proactive and disciplined manner when project health is jeopardized
Closing
Facilitate post‑project review meetings to capture lessons learned
Execute project surveys to gather customer feedback and assess overall satisfaction
Other Responsibilities
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of project methodologies, processes, and documentation
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience managing multiple project engagements
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders effectively
Education or job knowledge equivalent to a college or university undergraduate degree
