Let’s talk about how you can find your place here at Stifel, where success meets success.

What You'll Be Doing

The IT Project Manager Lead is a senior role responsible for driving delivery maturity and continuous improvement across a portfolio of technology projects and large program initiatives. Beyond leading complex, cross-functional programs end to end, the Project Manager Lead provides day-to-day leadership and mentorship to a small team of project managers and/or business analysts — setting standards, removing roadblocks, and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery. The role communicates with both internal departments and third-party vendors along with business partners to ensure the overall team's successful delivery of prioritizing projects . A core focus of this position is leading Salesforce platform programs, coordinating configuration, integration, data, and release activities across business and technical teams.

What We're Looking For
  • Lead large, complex program initiatives and multiple concurrent projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes and continuous value delivery.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of project managers and/or business analysts — setting delivery standards, allocating work, removing roadblocks, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
  • Serve as the program lead for Salesforce initiatives, partnering with administrators, developers, integration teams, and business owners to plan and deliver configuration, customization, data, and release activities across the platform.
  • Work closely with business units, technology teams, and third-party vendors to ensure business requirements are met while following best practices.
  • Evaluate the firm’s current delivery posture and spearhead enhancements to policies, processes, and tools.
  • Document program strategy, roadmaps, and key milestones as improvements are implemented.
  • Define key program metrics and KPIs to measure success and inform strategic decisions.
  • Champion the program, ensuring that business partners understand the importance of sound practices to support their business initiatives.
  • Monitor and track the progress of all related projects, proactively managing risks, dependencies, budgets, and timelines.
  • Function as the liaison between other departments and third-party vendors with respect to projects and processes.
  • Research changes and developments within the industry and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities.
  • Communicate the business value of technology solutions to executives and stakeholders, demonstrating impact on efficiency, cost, and customer experience.
  • Provide high-level decisions and guidance with respect to projects and other work-related items.
What You'll Bring
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams of project managers and/or business analysts and to manage large, cross-functional program initiatives.
  • Experience leading Salesforce platform programs (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or comparable), coordinating configuration, integration, data, and release management across teams.
  • Expertise in project and program management best practices, including planning, budgeting, risk, and dependency management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to make presentations to audiences including senior management.
  • Ability to influence and build consensus among stakeholders with varying objectives and to resolve conflicts constructively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with data-driven decision making, using metrics and KPIs to guide strategy and execution.
  • Ability to analyze existing capabilities and emerging trends and recommend improvements.
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with both internal and external clients.
Education & Experience
  • Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business or a technical field.
  • Minimum Required: 10+ years related experience in Information Technology, including demonstrated program management and team leadership experience.
  • Preferred: Experience delivering Salesforce programs in a financial services or other regulated environment.
Licenses & Credentials
  • Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent program management certification; Salesforce certification (e.g., Salesforce Administrator).
Systems & Technology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with project/program management tooling and the Salesforce platform.
