Project Manager (Software Development) - Remote, Latin America

Manage multiple concurrent software development projects from planning through delivery, overseeing scope, budgets, resources, timelines, risks, dependencies, vendors, and change control. Coordinate Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams, manage client expectations, track milestones and acceptance criteria, provide status reporting, and translate technical concepts for clients and executives. The role requires strong ownership, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and collaboration with distributed engineering teams during US business hours.

Requirements
- 5+ years professional experience managing software development projects
- Experience delivering against fixed, immovable external deadlines (e.g., product launches, trade shows) with critical-path and buffer management
- Experience managing a client dependency register with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths
- Experience with formal risk registers and change-control processes
- Experience managing project scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple concurrent workstreams
- Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, integration timelines)
- Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams
- Experience with milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing status reporting
- Experience with project management and tracking tools (Jira, Asana, or similar)
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience translating technical concepts for non-technical clients and executives
- Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and dependencies
- Substantial background working with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams
- Ability to overlap US business hours
- Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, CSM, or PSM certification
- Experience on projects with regulatory or compliance requirements (e.g., legal sign-offs, statutory deadlines)
- Experience with nearshore US-LATAM delivery teams
