Position: Project Manager, Video   

Department: Creative for OXO  

Work Location: New York, NY, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)  

Hybrid Schedule: At Helen of Troy, we embrace a flexible hybrid work model designed to support collaboration and productivity. For roles eligible for hybrid work, our standard schedule includes in-office collaboration from Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Any updates to this model will be communicated in advance. Please note that hybrid eligibility and schedules may vary based on business needs and manager expectations.  

What you will be doing:  

The Video Project Manager owns the full lifecycle of video production for OXO Marketing, from project kickoff through final asset delivery and archival. This role supports marketing campaigns, product launches, e-commerce, retail, packaging, and brand storytelling by managing schedules, budgets, production resources, outside vendors, and cross-functional communication. The ideal candidate brings strong organization, budget forecasting, production coordination, vendor negotiation, and asset delivery experience. 

With a constant focus on efficiency and operational excellence, the Video Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering video projects that support OXO marketing campaigns, product launches, e-commerce needs, retail programs, packaging requirements, and brand initiatives. This person partners directly with marketing leadership and internal stakeholders to build production plans and budgets up to 18 months in advance, aligning shoot priorities to campaign calendars, launch timing, asset needs, and business objectives. With strong attention to detail, this person maintains project spreadsheets, production schedules, vendor estimates, status documents, budgets, and asset trackers, providing marketing leadership with clear visibility into video progress, delivery timing, and cost. 

  • Lead planning, budgeting, execution, and final delivery of OXO video assets for marketing campaigns, product launches, e-commerce, packaging, retail, and brand storytelling. 

  • Collaborate with marketing leadership to align video production plans with product launches, campaign priorities, channel needs, and asset delivery timelines. 

  • Analyze product pipelines, marketing campaign calendars, launch priorities, and asset needs to forecast production budgets for up to 18 months of video shoots. 

  • Proactively update and maintain production budgets, vendor estimates, shoot schedules, and asset delivery timelines to provide accurate insight to management and cross-functional partners. 

  • Manage all aspects of production, including timelines, creative reviews, talent, outside production vendors, agencies, studios, locations, shoot logistics, prop sourcing, product samples, production materials, and asset filing. 

  • Maintain planning activity through priority shifts by seeking answers, clarifying direction, and adjusting project plans as needed. 

  • Continuously assess workflows for growth and efficiency by identifying process gaps, surfacing risks, and recommending improvements. 

  • Support the maintenance, organization, and continuous improvement of the internal studio environment. 

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve timeline conflicts, identify support needs, and keep work aligned to business objectives. 

  • Develop detailed project plans and schedules that clearly define milestones, owners, dependencies, and delivery dates, so team members are aligned and equipped to meet deadlines. 

  • Proactively identify risks, remove obstacles, and communicate tradeoffs early to prevent delays in project milestones and final deliveries. 

  • Optimize production resources, vendor costs, prop and sample usage, and studio workflows to improve productivity, reduce spending, and measurably increase studio efficiency and output. 

  • This is a highly collaborative role for someone who enjoys bringing structure to creative work, partnering closely with marketing and production teams, and helping deliver high-quality video assets that support key business priorities. 

Skills needed to be successful in this role:  

  • Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with a diverse set of internal and external partners. 

  • Experience collaborating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.  

  • A self-starter with exceptional interpersonal skills  

  • Strong prioritization skills, including the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities with conflicting deadlines.  

  • Forward thinking, and solutions oriented.  

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail. 

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree.   

  • 5+ years of prior experience in video project management, marketing campaign production, and video asset delivery in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. 

  • Experience managing production budgets, outside production vendors, estimates, shoot logistics, prop sourcing, and final asset delivery. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.  

  • Experience working within a shared server / network environment.  

  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.  

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.  

  • Experience with project management tools used to track budgets, production timelines, creative reviews, vendor deliverables, and video asset delivery. 

  • Experience with a DAM system or shared asset-management workflow for organizing, archiving, and delivering final video assets. 

In New York, the standard base pay range for this role is $98,493 - $120,000 annually. This base pay range is specific to New York and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
