The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Project Manager to support our Maritime Industrial Base Program. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of project execution, from planning and coordination to resolving technical issues and providing operational guidance. You’ll play a critical role in managing complex projects, liaising with cross-functional teams, and ensuring mission success in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure to ensure alignment with program objectives.

• Experience in subcontractor management, including developing Statements of Work, monitoring performance, managing deliverables, and maintaining project documentation in a complex project environment.

• Act as a project leader at the individual order level, providing direction and leadership to cross-functional project teams.

• Coordinate project activities across technical, operational, and administrative functions, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.

• Resolve technical and operational issues in collaboration with stakeholders, including quality assurance, engineering, manufacturing, and program management.

• Provide operational guidance for current and proposed projects, maintaining close liaison with key stakeholders and customers.

• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

• Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and presentations tailored to diverse audiences, including senior leadership and government stakeholders.

• Provide strategic advice and subject matter expertise to project teams, supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence.

• Consult with clients to define project requirements, assess risks, and recommend data-driven solutions to complex challenges.

Qualifications: Required:

• Active Secret Clearance

• 3–10 years of relevant project management experience with a BA/BS or MA/MS degree; additional years of experience may substitute for the degree requirement.

• Proven ability to initiate, supervise, and manage projects from inception through completion, including complex and mission-critical programs.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct evaluations, develop recommendations, and implement process improvements.

• Demonstrated experience providing strategic advice, technical guidance, and subject matter expertise to program and project teams.

• Experience consulting with clients to define project requirements, conduct data analysis, and recommend solutions.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality reports, briefings, and presentations for diverse audiences.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environments.

• Willingness and ability to travel for site visits, meetings, and outreach activities as required.

Desired:

• Experience supporting high-visibility projects with complex deliverables and stakeholder requirements.

• Ability to apply advanced project management principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative strategies.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.

• Knowledge of the sponsor’s organization, mission, and key partners.

• Knowledge of, and experience working with, SmartSheets

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management credentials (preferred but not required).

• Experience in outreach, education, or training programs, preferably in a maritime or industrial context (preferred but not required).

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400-$143,700
