Role Overview
Join our team as a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager, where you will be at the forefront of managing the development and updates of educational courseware, simulations, and supplemental products. In this crucial role, you will oversee multiple projects, ensuring alignment with organization strategies and processes to deliver high-quality educational resources that delight middle and high school students and teachers while driving the company’s growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic oversight, budget management, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and process optimization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee complex educational products and other processes annually, managing project stages from launch to completion.
- Employ project methodologies to execute project plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional remote teams and key stakeholders to deliver quality work on time, and to source and coordinate resources.
- Facilitate communication between content creators, technology teams, Product Managers, and other stakeholders.
- Establish, monitor and manage program and product budgets to meet financial objectives.
- Identify, analyze, prioritize, and mitigate risks.
- Create performance reports showing progress and highlighting challenges.
- Track and review schedules, revising as required.
- Work with the Program Management team to identify new and improvements to existing workflows, processes, and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, marketing, education, or similar.
- Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is considered an asset.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
- Experience with curriculum or EdTech, a plus.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and act with a sense of urgency.
- Can work effectively remotely either independently or as part of a team.
- Experience with project management applications, like Smartsheet, a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Salary Range: CA$65,000 - $75,000 DOE + Annual Bonus + Benefits
