Honest Buildings is seeking a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our Deployments team as a Deployment Manager. The right candidate will be organized and bright, possess outstanding communication skills and have experience managing technical projects for demanding clients. The Deployment Manager will need to have strong time management skills and allocate her or his time strategically with limited oversight.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Help our new customers successfully get set up on Honest Buildings:

Plan

• Use pre- and post-sale customer discovery to identify requirements (technical and change-management). While most projects follow a general pattern, our customers are top Commercial Real Estate companies and each has unique requirements which will require flexibility and creative thinking to develop a solution tailored to each implementation.
• Develop and document high level strategies for “fully implementing” Honest Buildings including implementation packages (and pricing) & Project Plans.

Execute

• Manage to the agreed-upon project plan to ensure each project is delivered on time, within budget, satisfies the customer expectations with no scope creep
• Work cross-functionally across sales, customer success, product, integrations, and engineering teams internally.
• Plan and facilitate regular, recurring external project management meetings to ensure we are on schedule and client expectations are being managed accordingly.

Communicate

• Responsible for Change Management at all areas of the customer; from executives to end users (writing and following a communication plan, providing documentation and training materials as needed, coordinating kick-off and milestone activities)
• Responsible for all internal communication strategy regarding the plan, status, risk, of each implementation project. Anyone who needs to know, should be clear on where each project/account stands and know where to go for up-to-date information.
• Write status reports and facilitate recurring meetings (internal and external) to ensure all relevant parties are up-to-date on projects.

Track

• Define “fully implemented”
• Monitor time-to-value metrics and drive timeline shorter with every project
• Refine implementation strategy to ensure that customers paying for an implementation a strong account health score, 0 churn rate etc...

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experienced in technical project management. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience working with clients to implement complex technologies. Knowledge of Real Estate or Construction or SaaS technologies is a plus.
• Fast learner: Able to retain content and learn from a variety of sources including but not limited to: other in-house subject matter experts, self-teaching, online research, industry publications and conferences.
• Highly articulate and persuasive: Able to converse with many different types of people including prospects, customers, partners, executive team members, salespeople, customer success team members, and engineers.
• Determined: Every day will bring new challenges, and we’re looking for people who have a passion for learning and getting better every day.
• Curious: Our product is expanding rapidly and the right Technical Deployment Manager will stay abreast to its capabilities in a nuanced and detailed way.
• Coachable: Implement feedback, constantly aim to improve demonstrations and client interactions in general, cater delivery to specific customer personas.
