About you

• You love to work directly with clients and vendors on a regular basis
• You’re strong at building relationships and very comfortable picking up a phone to get things done
• You’re execution-oriented and a creative problem solver, able to think on your feet as needed to move forward
• You lean in to ambiguity and thrive in fast-paced environments
• You’re comfortable with getting in the weeds - no task is too small
• You're a structured thinker and detailed-oriented, with experience helping improving operational processes
• You’re comfortable looking at data and drawing insights
• You’re excited about or have direct experience working on launching new markets

Responsibilities:

• Join our Expansion Team to launch new markets, specifically by building our supply base and developing operations to support growth
• Source and build partnerships with high quality vendors to service our clients
• Train our partners to successfully service our clients using the Managed by Q dashboard
• Support Market Launchers on pursuing new business opportunities and at times, advise clients directly, through your knowledge of partners, pricing, and services
• Manage relationships with our partners from onboarding through service completion and, when required, offboarding
• Analyze partner performance and provide insights to help them grow and succeed with Managed by Q, building a sustainable supply base that can be transitioned to our mature market operations
• Make client-driven and data-driven decisions to balance supply and demand
• Support strategic projects that improve Expansion Team operations
• Maintain a pulse of the business and report on performance metrics

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a category management, supplier management, operations, sales, business development, or a similar role within a high-output, challenging environment
• Experience managing vendors/suppliers, highly preferred
• Ability to effectively deal with ever-changing priorities and an evolving business model
• Customer service oriented and ability to work with a high sense of urgency
• Passion for helping others, no ask is too big or small
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities at once
• Experience working in startup environments (especially B2B), highly preferred
• Comfort with numbers, preferred
