HR Project Manager

What You'll Do
The HR Project Manager plays an integral role in driving the success of our People Team and our global cross-functional objectives. As our organization evolves and scales, you will have the opportunity to lead and participate in high impact People Team initiatives by leading projects that transform systems, processes and culture at Flatiron. Using business strategy, user experience, customer feedback, and technological expertise, you'll help Flatiron manage processes and programs which contribute to a positive experience for our employees. In addition, you will:
- Work with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to drive projects and improve processes and initiatives core to our People (and broader) organization’s success
- Operate with a project management (PMO) mindset, delivering results, driving discussions and managing against thoughtfully formed plans, budgets, timelines and goals
- Be responsible for leadership, delivery and management of detailed project plans for a broad variety of assigned People Team projects, including resource planning, delivery timelines, resource planning, reporting dashboards and budget management
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, taking into consideration communication and change needs and ensuring appropriate engagement for all levels of the organization throughout the project life cycle; facilitates work stream meetings and updates to steering committees
- Provide proactive advice and counsel to program leaders and team members on best practice to ensure project success and supports program leaders in project level (cross work stream) change and communications
- Provide consultation to HR Business Partners, HR COEs and business stakeholders, building domain knowledge, gathering requirements, providing solutions and impact analysis
Who You Are
You're a creative problem solver excited by the prospect of rolling up your sleeves to tackle meaningful problems each and every day, valuing the chance to make an important impact through rigorous project and relationship management.
- You have a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years work experience in an HR, Operations or PMO role.
- You possess strong project management skills and excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills; you enjoy being hands-on with a problem solving mindset.
- You have demonstrated the ability to deliver results; to handle multiple and competing priorities; to gather and understand client needs; to distill complex issues that include ambiguity, and translate them into concrete action plans
- You have experience leading, coaching and developing a project or stakeholder team
- You have demonstrated experience in managing processes and programs and working cross-functionally across an enterprise system (HR processes and HRIS preferred)
- You have demonstrated hands on experience with process optimization & improvement
