Implementation Specialist
Check is a payroll-as-a-service API that lets you embed payroll directly in your vertical SaaS, HR, or time-tracking platform. Our API abstracts away the complexities of running payroll: tax calculation, remittance, and filing, plus the movement of money between companies and employees. This enables companies to easily build fully integrated payroll products to offer to their customers.
As an Implementation Specialist you will be responsible for working alongside our partners to ensure accurate and timely payroll implementations. In this role, you will validate and process customer payroll tax requirements along with all the data needed for an accurate and compliant implementation.
We are looking for an Implementation Specialist with a hunger for growth and a minimum of three years of payroll and implementation experience for this position. Prior exposure to a fast-moving payroll SaaS environment is ideal. An ability to adapt will also be critical as our partners ramp up implementations.
In this role, you will:
- Work with our partners’ teams to deliver flawless implementations as they scale
- Synthesize implementation inputs in a compliant manner in order to provide an accurate and timely payroll processing
- Investigate, problem solve, research and provide resolutions to partner implementation questions and issues
- Identify areas of opportunity for improvement in the implementation process
Many backgrounds could fit this role, but ideal candidates will have:
- 3 + years of payroll implementation experience
- 3 + years of customer service experience
- Customer focus and excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with Zendesk and other cloud based productivity tools
Our team is distributed across the US, with hubs in New York City, San Francisco, and Atlanta.
