First Street Foundation is a tech non-profit made up of the best and brightest digital marketing and communications minds working like a Silicon Valley startup with one critical difference; we are mission aligned warriors. Our mission is to change the political equation to unlock national solutions to sea level rise and flooding. To do that, we have created two tools that highlight the risks, causes, and solutions to sea level rise which we aggressively market:

+ FloodiQ.coma big data, property-level flood risk tool, which visualizes your risk of flooding today and up to 15 years in the future as sea levels rise 

+ Sealevelrise.orga simple but digitally-rich educational site that explains sea level rise and flooding, that is tailored at a state-specific level

We are cutting-edge marketers and technologists who are wholly committed to advancing the awareness and action levels of all Americans to meet the challenges of sea level rise and flooding.

Mission of Role

The Project Manager will be responsible for implementing and managing our company wide OKR (Objectives and Key Results) process. You will be working closely with team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines and schedules are on track and ladder from the individual contributor to the company wide OKR and mission. This is a pivotal role in the company as you are solely responsible for ensuring we are on track and remain on track to change the world. 

To be successful as a Project Manager, you will need to have proven experience in project management, exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills, and must be familiar with OKR Methodology and associated software and tools. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is an advantage. 

Job Description

• Coordinating with cross discipline team members to make sure all parties are on track with OKRs and dependencies are tracked to deadlines 
• Meeting with team members to identify and resolve issues
• Identifying risks in the schedule before they impact delivery 
• Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards
• Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant information
• Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution
• Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule
• Conducting post project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or master degree in a related field of study
• 5+ years in related technology field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
• Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
• Experience working with and implementing the agile methodology 
• Expertise working with and implementing the OKR methodology
