About Kinstead

Kinstead helps nurse practitioners launch and run their own independent practices. We replace the fragmented, manual infrastructure behind healthcare with a single, intelligent system so clinicians can spend their time on care, not paperwork.

This creates a new model of care, one where clinicians practice on their terms and patients get consistent, community-rooted care. We recently closed an oversubscribed round backed by Wisdom Ventures, Expansion VC, Roo Capital, and healthcare leaders from Flatiron Health, Pomelo Care, and Roivant Sciences.

  • 50+ nurse practitioners across Massachusetts, Maryland, and Connecticut, expanding along the East Coast

  • New practices launching every week, with strong inbound demand from NPs

  • Monthly patient visits up 3x in a single quarter (June to September 2026)

  • Our own technology platform: every practice is moving onto Kinstead-built EHR and billing infrastructure

The role

More NPs want to own their practice than ever. As Provider Growth Associate, you'll often be the first person they talk to at Kinstead. You'll help each NP figure out whether owning a practice is right for them, and guide the ones who are ready from first conversation to signed contract.

The playbook is built. Your job is to run it well: own every conversation, grow every channel, and help more NPs launch their own practices each month. You'll work directly with Taylor (CEO).

If you want to hand off a relationship once it gets interesting, this isn't the job. If you want to own it from first call to signed contract, it is.

What you'll own

60%: Bringing NPs to Kinstead

  • Run discovery calls. Understand what each NP wants from their practice and whether Kinstead is the right fit.

  • Answer the real questions. How the platform works, how long launch takes, and what they own.

  • Take them to signed. Own every NP relationship from first conversation through contract, then transition everything to our launch team to make a seamless experience for the practice owner.

30%: Running the growth channels

  • Partnerships. Work with partner organizations on webinars, conferences, and member events.

  • Events. Show up where NPs are in our markets.

  • Digital ads. Run and optimize basic campaigns that bring NPs to us.

  • Cold outreach. Identify strong potential practice owners with support from our team and run personalized outreach that gets replies.

10%: The NP voice inside Kinstead

  • Bring back what you hear. The questions and hesitations NPs raise on calls shape our product, messaging, and onboarding.

First 90 days
  1. Days 1–30: Learn the model and the playbook. Sit in on Taylor's calls, learn the contract inside out, and run your first discovery calls.

  2. Days 31–60: Sign your first practices. Run calls solo and take over one growth channel end to end.

Days 61–90: Hit your goals. Meet your monthly target, run every channel in the playbook, and report weekly on what's working.

What Success Looks Like
  • New practices launched: Monthly target, growing month over month.

  • Right fit: Every NP who joins has the right market, timeline, and expectations to succeed.

  • First response to an interested NP: Within 1 business day.

  • Discovery call booked after first contact: Within 5 business days.

  • Signed NPs handed to launch with a complete file: 100%.

  • Channel reporting: Weekly updates on what's working, what isn't, and what's next.
NP experience of signing: NPs would recommend the process to a colleague.

Who you are
  • 2–5 years in a customer-facing role: sales, growth, recruiting, account management, or clinical work.

  • Former clinician is a strong plus. You know what an NP's day looks like, and NPs can tell.

  • You've owned a goal and hit it. You can tell us the target, the result, and how you got there.

  • Credible with clinicians, comfortable with the business. You can talk patient care and payer mix in the same conversation.

  • Reliable on follow-up. Every NP who reaches out hears back, and no question goes unanswered.

  • Fluent with AI, with your own judgment. You use AI tools to do more, and you know when the output is wrong.

  • Driven. You want a role where your results are visible and your scope grows with them.

Why this job
  • Help the next thousand NPs become practice owners. Every NP you sign is a new independent practice in a community that needs one.

  • Run a proven playbook, then scale it. The playbook is built. Your job is to run it well and grow each channel month over month.

  • Learn how healthcare really works. Payers, credentialing, revenue cycle, and the PC-MSO model are the parts most people in healthcare never see.

  • Your success shows up in your comp. Variable compensation grows as Kinstead grows.

  • Room to lead. As the team grows, this role can grow into leading it.

  • A front-row seat to building a company. Work directly with the founders and see how fundraising, partnerships, and the big calls get made.

Compensation and logistics
  • Base salary: $80,000–$120,000

  • Variable: On-target earnings tied to new practices that launch

  • Equity: Early-stage equity

  • Location: New York City, in office 3 days a week, with occasional travel to our markets

  • Type: Full-time

At Kinstead, we're building infrastructure for healthcare that serves entire communities—not just a narrow slice of them. That requires a team with diverse perspectives, lived experiences, and ways of thinking. We are committed to hiring people from a wide range of backgrounds, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, age, national origin, religion, disability, and veteran status. We believe better teams build better systems—and better systems lead to better care.

We aim to pay competitively for our stage and the importance of the work. Compensation includes base salary, variable compensation, equity, and benefits, and is designed to align long-term incentives with the impact you'll have at Kinstead. In accordance with applicable laws, we provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. Final compensation will depend on a number of factors, including experience, skillset, and leveling, as well as internal equity considerations. For this role, the estimated base salary range is $60,000 to $110,000.
