Python Developer (Financial Services)
Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite)
Contract
Important Note: Candidates must be local to the NYC area or willing to relocate and must be available and willing to attend Face-to-Face (F2F) interviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and optimize Python-based applications.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using modern Python frameworks.
- Automate processes, troubleshoot production and application issues, and enhance existing systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.
- Integrate applications with database systems and support data-driven development initiatives.
- Utilize AI tools and technologies to improve software development efficiency and productivity.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong expertise in Python programming.
- Hands-on experience with Django, Flask, Pandas, and NumPy.
- Proven experience in developing, testing, maintaining, and optimizing Python applications with a focus on security, scalability, and performance.
- Strong troubleshooting and automation experience.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Strong database design, development, and SQL querying skills.
- Practical experience leveraging AI tools and technologies in the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working within the Financial Services industry.
- Experience developing enterprise-grade applications in regulated environments.
