Responsible for software quality assurance including designing test cases, executing tests, documenting results, and collaborating with teams to resolve defects.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or any other IT related degree/Diploma, and/or completed Manual QA Course.
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English.
- Ability to design comprehensive test cases, and test scripts.
- Experience with functional, regression, performance, and API testing.
- Knowledge of test management and bug-tracking tools like Confluence, Jira for organizing test cases, reporting and ability to clearly document defects.
- Ability to work effectively in Agile, Scrum development teams.
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies, lifecycles and best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to work with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and stakeholders.
- Keen attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Self-driven and capable of working independently.
- Familiarity with databases and SQL for data validation is an advantage.
- ISTQB Certification (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) is an advantage.
Familiarity with SAP products, workflows, or modules is an advantage. Experience testing or working with Business management tools (ERP, CRM, etc.) is highly beneficial.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide detailed test execution reports to stakeholders, including test coverage, pass/fail rates, and defect status.
- Collect and document feedback from stakeholders during UAT phases and ensure issues are tracked and addressed.
- Track testing progress and communicate test results to project teams and management.
- Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to define the scope of testing based on business requirements and workflows.
- Work closely with developers, functional consultants, and business users to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
- Collaborate with the QA team to define test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Design and document test cases, scenarios, and scripts.
- Participate in all aspects, types and stages of testing (e.g. functional, system, integration, regression, performance testing).
- Continuously improve test processes and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Simulate real-world business scenarios to validate the performance and functionality.
- Execute end-to-end testing of business processes.
- Identify, investigate, log, track defects in bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA,).
- Retest resolved issues to verify fixes and ensure no new defects are introduced.
