DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Lead a team applying complex data processing applications, advanced statistical tools, and AI/ML techniques. Lead analytics, including using machine learning techniques to enable the customization of products, offers and customer experiences based on customer needs and preferences, optimizing value for clients, partners, as well as the bank. Work closely with business teams to manage portfolio performance, and collaborates with peers in Data & Analytics to bring all our data, analytics and AI capabilities to bear. Inform organization wide strategic investments through financial modeling, product economics, customer journeys, and business/product expertise. Perform analytics and modeling including marketing effectiveness and product and program design. Utilize industry best practices to cross collaborate across products/functions such as Finance, Marketing, Risk, Pricing, and Treasury as well as drive identification and implementation of analytical/data-driven use-cases for business case development. Leverage knowledge of banking and financial services to establish data-driven strategic objectives and key results (OKRs) at product level. Build reporting and analytics to evaluate performance of business, tracking against goals and a robust test and learn agenda to inform go-forward organizational strategy. Drive reporting and visualization, using advanced techniques including GenAI and tools to deliver automation, deploy reports and drive efficiency while shifting our manual processes to an automated business intelligence stack. Responsible for driving key objectives of the data and analytics organization. This position requires 20% domestic travel for team meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Any), Statistics, Mathematics, or related field of study plus 10 years of experience in the job offered or as a Quant Analytics Director, Senior Manager Analytics, Data Science Director, or related role. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Engineering (Any), Statistics, Mathematics, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as a Quant Analytics Director, Senior Manager Analytics, Data Science Director, or related role.
Skills Required: This position requires seven (7) years of experience with the following: data and analytics; financial product economics/analytics; analytical and financial modeling including building production-level analytics solutions; drivers of profitability, customer segmentation, and behavior analytics; building custom analytical solutions to drive business value; people management leading transformation efforts and managing teams; working and influencing decision-makers in a matrixed organization with stakeholders across multiple time zones; explaining technical matters to less technical colleagues; coaching junior team members; leading a team focused on data analytics. This position requires five (5) years of experience with: Alteryx; Tableau; at least one of the following: SAS, SQL, Python, or R. This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: network optimization; marketing optimization modeling; using machine learning and AI applications to deliver analytics.
Job Location: 450 W. 33rd St., New York, NY 10001. This position requires 20% domestic travel for team meetings.
Full-Time. Salary: $225,000 - $285,000 per year.
