Role:
Quantitative developer who will join a small engineering team within the Central research technology Team that works closely with systematic Portfolio Managers to help them build, operate, and evolve their technical stack. The developer will analyze their business requirements and develop solutions to shorten their time-to-market and/or upgrade their existing platform.
You will be exposed to all aspects of the systematic investing business and you must be ready to solve all the technical challenges associated with that within the context of a modular platform. You will be closely associated with the Portfolio Managers success. This is a unique opportunity to grow your career with the team while building the next generation of research and quant trading systems.
Responsibilities:
Working on all types of systems used in the systematic investment business and participating in the development of a modular system that is used to solve these challenges:
- Data pipelines
- Intraday signal research tools
- Mid and high frequency trading and backtesting
- Real time market data
- Technical and financial monitoring systems
- GUIs
- Data storage, time series database, event correlation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- 2-5 years of experience in a technically demanding industry such as high frequency trading, computer hardware, or gaming
- Very strong C++ proficiency
- Python fluency
- Linux administration skills
- Familiarity with computer architecture, databases, real time systems, and distributed computing
- Detail oriented
- Strong and precise written and verbal communication
- Team player with strong pride of ownership
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
Ivy league colleges education preferred or huge plus we can say mandatory.
