Responsibilities

• Research high to mid frequency alphas
• Explore trading ideas by analyzing market data, market microstructure and alternate data for market patterns
• Create tools to analyze data for patterns and contribute to customized simulators development
• Generate trading models with statistical / machine learning tools
• Implement and deploy trading algorithms, monitor portfolio risk, and maintain daily trading production

Qualifications

• Requires a PhD in Mathematics, Mathematical Sciences, Statistics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering or related field of study
• Requires experience or coursework with each of the following:
  • Computational mathematics
  • Probability and statistics
  • Python and C++ programming
  • Machine Learning
  • Time series analysis
  • Reinforcement learning and optimization
  • Ability to handle large datasets
  • Derivatives pricing theories and their implementations
  • and Risk modeling, with knowledge in distribution estimation

Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
