About the Opportunity:   

Cloud Security Services is currently looking for a Quest One Identity Manager Engineer for our client. Our client requires a Quest One Identity Manager Engineer with strong administrative skills to be responsible for managing and administering the identity management system to ensure the security and integrity of user data, managing the technical architecture, including analyzing, researching, designing, and developing new functionality and integration with key applications and services such as SAP GRC and IGA and development and maintenance of all documents, such as business requirement specifications, functional requirements, technical design documents, SOPs, and work instructions. Additionally, the candidate may support other team functions in areas such as access review, risk remediation, and other audit requirements. The client is willing to consider likeplatform engineering experience. This is a 6-month remote opportunity.

Responsibilities: 

• Administer, configure, and maintain Quest One Identity Manager, including installing patches, updates, and hotfixes.

• Develop, maintain, and support workflows, policies, and procedures for identity management processes.

• Migrate the existing 1IM user interface to an React/Angular UI. This involves re-architecting the application to use Angular components, services, and modules and updating the code to use reactive programming and RxJS.

• Use scripts for automation, build web services and wrappers, and perform data analysis.

• Ensure all unit and integration testing is complete, clearly communicate testing strategy, scenarios, and results with key stakeholders and team.  Support System and User Acceptance testing.

• Be responsible for Enterprise IAM Maturity assessment.

• Implement, configure, and manage connectors for identity synchronization and provisioning.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to identity management processes, systems, and services.

• Work collaboratively with other IT teams to ensure integration and interoperability with other enterprise systems.

• Create and maintain all SDLC documents for One Identity, Java node JS.

• Create and maintain solution design/architecture for enhancements that clearly communicate the current state and future changes.

• Network with business/IT leads to understand their pain points, business needs and system requirements.

• Design and develop solutions for process improvement.

• Keep abreast and advise management on

• Emerging business needs of IT solutions

• Emerging technical development (integrational and transformational)

• Best practices and their relevance for organization objectives

• Keep abreast of overall development activities in J&J environment.


Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience on Quest One Identity Manager interfaces/tools (Manager, Designer or Web Designer, Object Browser, Data Importer, Job Queue Info, Transporter, schema extension, Quest Quick Connect, etc.)

• Experience in integrating target systems with Quest One Identity Manager (Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange/Office 365, Relational Databases, Webservices, Mainframes, Window Server, Unix, LDAP, SAP/PeopleSoft, IDaaS Applications, and Cloud applications) for provisioning and synchronization/reconciliation (Full or Delta).

• Experience in defining IAM strategy.

• Knowledge of MS SQL database (Tables, Views, Stored procedures).

• Ability to compile/run medium to high complexity SQL queries.

• Good knowledge of VB.Net, Web Service development, and high-level understanding of Network components.

• Good understanding of SDLC model (Waterfall vs Agile) and Change Management Process.

• Good experience in writing scripts at server level (Perl script/ vb script/ java script/ batch scripts).

• Good troubleshooting skills and analytical and communication skills.

• Quick learner coupled with attitude and passion to learn new development and IAM technologies.


 Preferred Skills:              

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, management, or a related field.

• 6+ years of experience in administering and configuring Quest One Identity Manager in an enterprise environment.

• Solid understanding of identity and access management principles, including RBAC, SSO, and SAML.

• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and customization.

• Experience with web services, including REST and SOAP.

• Expertise in migrating the existing 1IM user interface to an Angular UI.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

• Quest One Identity Manager certification (QIMCA).

• Security Certification (CISSP, GISP etc).

• Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, and other directory services.

• Familiarity with security and compliance regulations such as HIPAA, SOX, and GDPR.

• Experience with other identity management tools such as Ping, Microsoft Identity Manager, or ForgeRock

• Experience with identity lifecycle maintenance solutions such as One Identity Manager or access management solutions.

• Demonstrate capabilities to deal with competing priorities and resolve priority conflicts.

• 3% travel may be required.

• Familiarity with application security methodology.

• Familiarity with network components and functions.

• Familiarity with directories (AD, AAD, Radiant One)

• Flexibility to accommodate global working across different time zones and to provide out-of-hours advanced “Level 3 Support” during business-impacting critical incidents.


 Required Education:                 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science.
