We are seeking a passionate and skilled Radar Algorithms Engineer to join our innovative team. If you have a strong background in physics, radio frequency (RF) applications, mathematics, and statistics, and are eager to develop fieldable solutions, we want to hear from you.

Job Summary:

As a Radar Algorithms Engineer at MORSE, you will be responsible for developing novel radar, physics, and statistical models for advanced tools used by the US National Security Ecosystem. Your role will involve the entire lifecycle of algorithm development, from conception and design to deployment and testing. You will work with raw radar data, simulate dynamic systems, and ensure that your algorithms are explainable to both technical and non-technical users.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and own radar algorithms throughout their lifecycle, including conception, development, documentation, deployment, and testing.

  • Process and analyze raw radar data, with a focus on IQ-Samples.

  • Simulate and validate algorithmic performance using dynamic systems.

  • Present technical work through white papers, analysis test reports, and oral presentations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of algorithms into software solutions.

Requirements:
  • Ph.D. or M.S. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

  • US Citizenship required and the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

  • Proficiency in Python for algorithm and software development.

  • Strong background in physics, mathematics, and statistics with experience with radar algorithms and simulations.

  • Background in RF applications, with experience in software-defined radio (SDR) preferred.

  • Experience with radar systems, including continuous wave (CW) radar, Doppler radar, and pulsed radar.

  • Experience with multifrequency continuous radar (MFCW) or multimodular radar is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of the differences between pulsed radar and CW radar.



MORSE Corp’s salary range for this role carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to, prior experience, education, skills and expertise, location, internal equity, and other factors that are job related and consistent with business need. Therefore, final offer amounts may vary from the amount stated. Depending on role eligibility, total compensation may also include bonus, stock, 401(k) match, paid time off, medical, dental, vision and life insurance.

Compensation
$90,000$210,000 USD
