Operate radiographic imaging equipment to perform physician-prescribed imaging studies for all patient types, review images for quality and accuracy, and retake films as needed following established standards and procedures.
Position Summary:
Operates Radiographic Imaging equipment to perform quality imaging studies as prescribed by the physician on all patient types, ages and medical conditions using established standards and procedures. Reviews studies for quality and accuracy, and may take additional films to assist the radiologist.
Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent and Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
- American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT), (or eligible) and/or New York State license as a Radiologic Technologist
- BLS certification within three months of hire.
Pay Range:
$26.28 - $40.01 per hour
