Responsible for reception area. Duties include, but not limited to, greeting and ushering visitors/patients, answering and directing telephone calls, taking messages, setting appointments, etc.
Job Responsibility
- Performs diversified receptionist's duties which may include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting visitors
- Answering telephones, taking messages, directing intercom pages, etc.
- Setting up appointments, bookings, etc.
- Logging descriptive statistical data pertaining to the department
- Receives payments and transmits to Accounting Department
- Miscellaneous duties related to department
- Performs related duties, as required.

Job Qualification
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Prior clerical experience, preferred.
- Typing 30 wpm and/or data entry skills (80 keystrokes per minute), required.
- Ability to communicate effectively, required. Ability to deal courteously with patients and families, when required.
