UTA seeks a Receptionist to join our team and be the first point of contact for clients, guests, and visitors within our vibrant entertainment environment in New York. The receptionist will play a key role in providing outstanding customer service to guests, clients, and employees. This individual will oversee front desk operations and assist with correspondence and light administrative tasks in a fast-paced and ever-changing industry.

This is a full-time position with benefits and will pay $22.00 per hour.

What You Will Do

  • Greet visitors as they arrive and alert appropriate parties of said arrival
  • Maintain safe and clean, reception and communal areas by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Maintain security by following procedures for external guests
  • Answer phone calls and direct callers to the appropriate person
  • Update and manage daily visitor log
  • Monitor external visitor requests, conference room, desk reservations & changes
  • Provide access cards for new hires when they arrive on their first day at the office
  • Assist guests for all in-house events when required
  • Report on workplace service-related repairs/requests to the Workplace Services team
  • Capable of sitting, standing, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
     

What You Will Need

  • 1+ years’ experience in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Familiarity with workspace management software (Condeco) preferred but not required
  • Previous experience in a reception, host, or related role preferred
  • Possess professional and friendly, team player personality
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
  • Competency in multi-tasking
  • Resourceful and well organized
