Company Description

Accelion is a technology company and talent platform that partners with high-growth startups to help them scale. We back and support companies in AI, healthcare, recruiting, consumer, fintech, and more. Our small, but scrappy team has a track record of building and scaling companies - and we're now looking for a sharp, energetic team member to join us in our mission.

About the Role

We're hiring a Recruiter / Operations Associate who can lead candidate sourcing and screening across multiple technical and non-technical roles. This is an ideal position for someone early in their career who’s already had hands-on experience with high-volume recruiting (think 10+ interviews a day) and thrives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. You’ll also support general business operations and act as a right hand to leadership — whether that means scheduling meetings, building candidate pipelines, or helping with special projects.

You’ll work closely with founders, hiring managers, and candidates, and gain exposure across functions at both Accelion and the startups we partner with.

What You’ll Do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting: source, screen, and manage candidates from first outreach to offer

  • Conduct high-volume candidate outreach and video interviews daily

  • Coordinate with founders and hiring managers on interview loops and job descriptions

  • Maintain clean candidate tracking in our ATS and sourcing tools

  • Support executive operations: scheduling, project follow-up, and internal coordination

  • Jump in on special projects across HR, operations, or research as needed

Who You Are

  • 1–3 years of experience in recruiting (agency or in-house), ideally high-volume

  • Energized by talking to people — you could run 10 interviews a day and still bring the energy

  • Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented — you follow up, follow through, and don’t drop the ball

  • Fast learner and problem solver — you don’t wait to be told what to do, you figure it out

  • Comfortable working directly with startup founders and executives

  • Interested in startups, VC, and the behind-the-scenes of building companies

  • This role is in-person at our office in New York, NY

Bonus Points

  • Experience in a startup or venture-backed environment

  • Technical recruiting experience

  • Familiarity with tools like ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter

Perks

  • High visibility and mentorship from founders and operators

  • Opportunity to grow into a senior recruiter, ops, or chief of staff role over time

  • Exposure to multiple fast-growing startups and their hiring processes
