About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Full Cycle Recruiter to join our growing Talent team. Reporting directly to the Head of Talent, you'll execute recruiting strategies across technical and non-technical roles while helping us attract exceptional talent and deliver a best-in-class candidate experience.

This is a highly collaborative individual contributor role for someone who genuinely enjoys recruiting as their craft. You'll partner closely with the Head of Talent, hiring managers, and Recruiting Operations to execute hiring plans, build strong candidate pipelines, and move searches with speed and precision.

We're looking for someone who is excited to become an exceptional recruiter, values being a trusted execution partner, and wants to continue growing as an individual contributor.

Experience recruiting within a startup environment is required. Experience recruiting within a technology startup is strongly preferred. Defense Tech recruiting and experience hiring candidates with active U.S. security clearances is also strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Execute recruiting searches and hiring initiatives under the direction of the Head of Talent.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across assigned technical and non-technical roles, from kickoff through accepted offer.
  • Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruiting process while executing established hiring strategies and interview plans.
  • Source and engage exceptional passive talent using creative sourcing techniques and modern recruiting tools.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Conduct recruiter screens and evaluate candidates for alignment with role requirements, company values, and team needs.
  • Drive an exceptional candidate experience through proactive communication, responsiveness, organization, and thoughtful follow-up.
  • Maintain a strong sense of urgency, ensuring candidates move efficiently through every stage of the hiring process.
  • Keep hiring managers informed through regular communication, market insights, and search updates.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records, interview feedback, and recruiting data in Greenhouse.
  • Partner closely with Recruiting Operations to ensure a seamless interview, offer, and onboarding experience.
  • Represent TurbineOne professionally and enthusiastically in every candidate interaction.
  • Contribute ideas that improve recruiting processes, hiring efficiency, and candidate experience
 QualificationsRequired
  • 5–7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Low ego and team-first mindset; you celebrate team success, welcome feedback, and prioritize the mission over personal recognition.
  • Deeply connected to our mission; you believe the people we hire directly impact our ability to support those serving on the frontlines, and you approach recruiting with that responsibility in mind.
  • Experience recruiting in a startup or high-growth environment (technology startup experience strongly preferred).
  • Experience successfully recruiting both technical and non-technical talent.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting software engineers and other technical professionals.
  • Strong sourcing experience with the ability to identify, engage, and close passive candidates.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent searches while maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve quickly.
  • A strong sense of urgency balanced with sound judgment.
  • Passion for delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Comfortable working under the direction of the Head of Talent while building trusted partnerships with hiring managers across the organization.
  • A genuine desire to continue growing as an individual contributor rather than seeking an immediate path into people management.
Preferred
  • Experience recruiting within a Defense Tech company.
  • Experience recruiting candidates with active U.S. security clearances.
  • Familiarity with government contracting or national security organizations.
  • Experience using Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, and other modern recruiting tools.
