About the Role

We’re looking for a high-energy, mission-driven Recruiter to join our team. As one of our first recruiting hires, you’ll play a pivotal role in scaling our team across all functions focusing initially on our Engineering roles. You’ll own full-cycle recruiting, from crafting job descriptions and sourcing candidates to scheduling interviews and closing top talent.

You’ll be an advocate for candidates, a partner to hiring managers, and a champion for Courier Health's culture as we grow. If you’re scrappy, resourceful, and excited about helping build a company from the inside out, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do
  • Own end-to-end recruiting for multiple roles across teams such as Engineering, Product, Client Solutions, and Marketing
  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive candidates.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and company leadership to define role requirements, build interview plans, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Manage scheduling, candidate communications, and logistics ensuring a white-glove experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of strong talent for future roles.
  • Evaluate and implement recruiting tools, including AI-powered platforms, to drive efficiency and improve outcomes.
  • Help shape and iterate on recruiting processes, reporting, and best practices.
  • Collaborate on employer branding efforts to help tell Courier’s story.
  • Work cross-functionally to support broader People Ops initiatives.
Who You Are
  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting
  • Agency background or prior experience working in fast-paced, startup environments is strongly preferred.
  • Experience owning full-cycle recruiting (sourcing through close).
  • Passion for building diverse and inclusive teams.
  • Scrappy, proactive, and resourceful, you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves or think outside the box.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities; you thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communicator who can build trust with candidates and internal stakeholders alike.
  • Data-informed mindset, you know how to measure what matters.
  • Mission-driven, outgoing, and energized by people and problem-solving.
  • Curious about or experienced with AI tools for recruiting, you don’t need to be an expert, but you’re eager to explore and optimize.

  • Experience working at or recruiting for early-stage startups.
  • Familiarity with Greenhouse (our ATS) or similar systems.
  • Previous work in recruiting operations or employer branding.
  • Strong understanding of the NYC talent market.

The annual salary range for the target level for this role is $90,000 - $125,000 + equity + benefits, including medical, dental, and vision. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, interview performance, and internal equity.
