As the Regional Communications and Public Affairs Integration Vice President, you will help shape and centralize our engagement with local Public Affairs activities across the firm. In this pivotal role, you will be the a central hub connecting our regional efforts with national objectives, ensuring that our communications strategies tell the firm's compelling broader story and amplify our impact in the communities we serve. You will guide the integration of our communications resources, creating efficiencies and fostering collaboration across corporate and line of business partners. Job responsibilities:
- Centralize our Regional Communications Team's engagement with Public Affairs, ensuring seamless alignment across all markets. Collaborating with our national Market Leadership Team, this position will support business priorities and drive impactful public affairs initiatives that reflect the unique nature of each market. This role will serve as the central liaison and bridge between national public affairs activities and local regional communications professionals.
- Craft and execute strategies that resonate with our customers, employees, and local stakeholders. Your role as a central hub for marketing resources will ensure that our messaging is strategically aligned with the company's priorities.
- Create social media efficiencies across markets, increasing local executive and employee amplification, ensuring alignment with company policies while maintaining the unique voice of each market. You will lead the charge in amplifying our message through emerging media channels by creatively leveraging emerging opportunities across markets and driving innovation on delivering local stories of impact from our business.
- Coordinate local events and media relations activities will ensure proactive engagement and consistent information flow, enhancing our presence and impact in local markets. This includes working with Regional Communications team's Sponsored Content Executive Director to align with the Public Affairs team on any shared storytelling opportunities in public affairs markets.
- Integrate into existing reporting structure of metrics for success as well as designing new and innovative measurement tools to demonstrate success against the remit.
- Examine strategic opportunities to introduce JPMC capabilities to sponsored content and other partners to leverage the firm's ability to provide strategic advice and financial services.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 7+ years of experience in media, executive communications, or public relations, with a degree in Journalism or Communications
- Develop the communications strategy to proactively tell the firm's story with our customers, employees and local influencers.
- Serve as counsel to our leaders on media, reputation and other communication- and community-related issues.
- Develop social media strategies to create efficiencies across markets and ensure alignment with company policies.
- Serve as reporter/editor to gather and organize employee communication content.
- Travel to key markets as needed and appropriate.
