Position Overview

K18 is looking for a Regional Education Manager (REM), in Texas, central territory (preferably in Dallas, Austin, or Houston). The Regional Education Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of K18 education in your assigned region and territory. You will work closely with partners in sales and marketing to create an integrated and streamlined experience for our community and deliver on the strategic initiatives of the Director of Education. You will be responsible for supporting your territory by ensuring the effective delivery and execution of exceptional, engaging and occasionally technical educational sessions for our professional stylists. To be considered for this education role, it is essential that you hold a valid cosmetology license.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and lead the K18 philosophy of biotech and biomimetics through exciting education.   
  • Manage educational strategies within your region, implementing education plans to grow the K18 brand and business.
  • Responsible for facilitating local trainings to distributor sales consultants, distributor educators, store employees and salons.
  • Works closely with K18 marketing and sales teams to ensure proper launches and promotions within the region.
  • Promote and implement K18 education programs, from field education to shows and events.
  • Responsible for scheduling and managing all K18 education programs within your region.
  • Responsible for the development and growth of existing accounts as well as generating new business through excellent education.
  • Works with distributors, sales, and marketing to plan a strategy to deliver against sales goals.
  • Manage educational programs to meet salon objectives and support new product launches within the region.
  • Participates in distributor shows and programs as directed.
  • Facilitate technical education for professional stylists in both live and virtual settings.
  • Any other tasks the employer may reasonably consider essential in ensuring the normal operations of the employer’s business processes and that fall into the category of expertise of the Regional Education Manager.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be Licensed and experienced Hairstylist/Cosmetologist.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in educating haircare products.
  • Previous experience conducting classes for large audiences and in-salon settings.
  • Strong facilitation skills in both live and virtual settings.
  • Strong administrative skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple distributors in the assigned territory.
  • Ability to travel and work weekends when required.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Salary Range: $90-100k

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
