Job Description

Internal sales partner to the offshore distribution team covering both the U.S. Offshore and LatAm market. This role is responsible for engaging financial advisors and intermediaries across Latin America and other Spanish-speaking regions, positioning Virtus products and solutions in alignment with regional needs. Spanish fluency is essential for effective communication and relationship-building.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage financial advisors and intermediaries via phone, email, and webinars in both English and/or Spanish to develop and maintain relationships, positioning Virtus products/solution tailored to offshore markets.  Keep offshore gatekeepers/home-office updated on Virtus offshore channel and work closely with head of offshore distribution in identifying business development opportunities
  • Document all interactions and activities in CRM systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct investment analysis using Morningstar, YCharts, and other tools to support external partners and advisors on the offshore channel, while helping with all day to day operational issues.
  • Identify sales opportunities through CRM, Simfund, and other data sources, with a focus on Offshore distribution channels.  Work closely with internal partners especially marketing/legal/compliance to make sure all materials are updated in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and Virtus resources to generate ideas and solve problems, contributing to strategic initiatives in Offshore markets. Also work with LatAm regional distribution partners as needed with ad-hoc requests.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of related experience.
  • FINRA Series 7 and (66 or 63 and 65) required.
  • Fluency in Spanish is mandatory; Portuguese is a plus.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience working with Offshore clients or international distribution preferred.
  • Proficiency in in MS Outlook, SalesPage, and CRM platforms.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Strong sales acumen and a client-centric approach.

The base salary for this role is $73,000.

The starting salary offer will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. This position is also eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
