Job Description:

As a Renewals Director (Individual Contributor), you will serve as a subject matter expert in renewals, owning and driving renewal outcomes for a portfolio of KEY ACCOUNT customers. Your primary focus will be to maximize customer retention and expansion through timely renewals, proactive risk management, and the identification of upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.

You will lead complex, high‑value renewal negotiations for strategic and enterprise accounts and partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal. This role requires strong business acumen, data‑driven decision‑making, and the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority. You will play a critical role in shaping renewal strategy, processes, and best practices while directly executing against company retention and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute renewals for a portfolio of strategic and enterprise KEY ACCOUNTS within the AMS region, driving retention, expansion, and long‑term customer value
  • Lead complex, high‑value renewal negotiations, balancing customer outcomes with commercial and revenue goals
  • Carry an individual quota, including Renewal Bookings (ATR Renewal Rate) and Expansion Bookings, defined engagement metrics
  • Proactively identify renewal risks and expansion opportunities, applying renewal uplift strategies to maximize outcomes
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, and executive stakeholders to align on renewal strategy and deal structure
  • Establish and own operational objectives across a broad scope of responsibility, influencing company‑wide outcomes
  • Make independent, high‑impact decisions that directly affect short‑term business results and renewal performance
  • Build and leverage strong internal partnerships, influencing cross‑functional stakeholders without formal authority
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and the competitive landscape, applying insights to enhance renewal strategies and customer value

Qualifications & Experience

  • 8–10 years of relevant experience in renewals, customer success, account management, or other client‑facing roles
  • At least 2 years of direct experience managing renewals for KEY, STRATEGIC, or ENTERPRISE accounts
  • Demonstrated deep expertise in renewals or a closely related domain, with success managing complex, high‑value customer engagements
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior‑level stakeholders
  • Strong ability to prioritize, manage time autonomously, and succeed in a cross‑functional, fast‑paced environment
  • Proven problem‑solving mindset with adaptability in dynamic business conditions
  • Demonstrated business acumen, connecting individual execution to broader organizational goals
  • Familiarity with enterprise networking technologies (preferred) and a foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts and solutions

Compensation range: $145,000 - $175,000 70/30 split
