Portage CyberTech est à la recherche d’un représentant du développement des affaires (RDA) motivé et énergique pour se joindre à notre équipe des ventes internes. La personne retenue sera responsable de repérer et de qualifier de nouvelles occasions d’affaires grâce à la prospection sortante et au suivi des pistes entrantes.

En travaillant en étroite collaboration avec l’équipe des ventes, le BDR contribuera à susciter l’intérêt pour les solutions de Portage CyberTech et à soutenir la croissance du pipeline auprès des marchés gouvernementaux, des entreprises et des professionnels.

Responsabilités principales (ce que vous ferez concrètement)

  • Mener des activités de prospection sortante par téléphone, courriel, LinkedIn et d’autres canaux.
  • Effectuer le suivi des pistes entrantes générées par les campagnes marketing, les webinaires et les événements.
  • Effectuer des recherches sur les comptes ciblés et identifier les principaux décideurs.
  • Qualifier les occasions d’affaires et planifier des rencontres pour l’équipe des ventes.
  • Tenir à jour les renseignements sur les clients et les prospects dans le CRM.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes Marketing et Ventes afin de soutenir les initiatives de génération de pistes.

Qualifications et expérience

  • De 1 à 3 ans d’expérience en développement des affaires, en ventes, en génération de pistes ou dans un rôle connexe.
  • Solides compétences en communication, en présentation et en établissement de relations.
  • Autonomie, sens de l’organisation et orientation vers les résultats.
  • Expérience avec des plateformes CRM, un atout.
  • Expérience de vente de solutions technologiques, SaaS, de cybersécurité, d’identité numérique ou de logiciels, un atout.
  • Maîtrise de l’anglais et du français, à l’oral comme à l’écrit.

Role Overview (The “Why” of the Role)

Portage CyberTech is seeking a motivated and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Inside Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up.

Working closely with the sales team, the BDR will help generate interest in Portage CyberTech's solutions and contribute to pipeline growth across government, enterprise, and professional markets.

Core Responsibilities (What You’ll Actually Do)

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
  • Follow up on inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, webinars, and events.
  • Research target accounts and identify key decision-makers.
  • Qualify opportunities and schedule meetings for the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate customer and prospect information within the CRM.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales teams to support lead generation initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in business development, sales, lead generation, or a related role.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results oriented.
  • Experience using CRM platforms is an asset.
  • Experience selling technology, SaaS, cybersecurity, digital identity, or software solutions is considered an asset.
  • Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken)
