We are Focus Finance, a global network of students interested in finance & banking. Our analysts and partners work across 6 report streams (M&A Deals, Industry Trends, ECM, DCM, Equity Research and Global M&A Outlook) to deliver high-quality and rich content reports to our readership and institutional partners. We bring together 50+ passionate, motivated and determined students from 21 universities across 4 continents to provide a truly international platform for career development and networking. Job Description

Working with us

We provide you with a working environment where personal development and value creation go hand in hand. You will gain access to our learning materials to improve your financial skills which will come in handy during future interviews. You will research, forecast and analyze deal synergies, valuation models, global trends, macroeconomic conditions, individual stocks and corporate strategies to deliver the reports together with the team. You will interact and build relationships with like-minded students from across the globe. You will help Focus Finance drive international engagement and build the brand. And if you are committed, more challenging projects and positions are in for you.

Your key responsibilities

  • Research and write financial reports together with the report team, based on your preferences and placement

  • Participate in the learning schemes and seek to develop your finance knowledge

  • Help Focus Finance drive engagement and gain new readership

Qualifications

We carefully recruit all our members to ensure consistency across our branches. We are looking at a number of skills and interests throughout the recruitment process:

  • Undergraduate student specializing in finance, management, economics, engineering, computer science or similar (we welcome applications from all universities across the globe)

  • High industry and commercial awareness 

  • Core soft skills – teamwork, adaptability, resilience, international mindset

  • The ability to balance qualitative and quantitative data

  • A strong interest in M&A, capital markets, private equity or corporate development
