Simplistic, LLC is seeking a strategic and client-focused Retention Marketing Specialist to join our Retention Marketing Team. In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of high-growth DTC brands, driving the execution and evolution of email and SMS marketing strategies that deliver measurable results.

As a key player in our team, you'll lead campaign strategy and performance analysis while serving as a trusted advisor to your clients. As a Retention Marketing Specialist, this role could include:

  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts, overseeing day-to-day execution while driving long-term strategic goals.
  • Create, manage, optimize, and report on email and SMS marketing campaigns that align with client objectives.
  • Develop and implement measurement strategies to track performance and deliver actionable insights.
  • Champion client success by crafting tailored retention marketing strategies that drive business results.
  • Analyze customer and campaign data to uncover strategic opportunities and guide marketing decisions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong, long-term relationships through proactive communication and strategic leadership.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and provide expert recommendations on email/SMS marketing best practices.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with designers, copywriters, and data analysts to bring strategies to life.
  • Partner with internal teams and discipline leads to continuously improve processes, methodologies, and client outcomes.

Required Competencies

  • 3+ years of experience as a digital strategist or marketer, either agency or client-side.
  • Hands-on experience with email and SMS marketing; strong knowledge of retention strategies.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement marketing strategies that deliver measurable results.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into compelling narratives and strategy.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and growing long-term client relationships.
  • Solid understanding of branding, content strategy, and customer lifecycle marketing.
  • Experience with Klaviyo and Figma is a plus.
