Description

We are looking for a data-driven and detail-oriented Revenue Operations Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a key part of the Revenue Operations team.

This is a high-impact, entry-level opportunity for someone who loves solving puzzles with data, is comfortable with complex calculations, and wants to build a career in the fast-paced world of SaaS Revenue Operations. You will help maintain trust with other departments by keeping reports updated, systems clean, and the sales team paid accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Commission & Compensation Management
  • Own the monthly preparation and administration of sales commission plans.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy in variable compensation calculations for Sales and CS teams.
  • Handle inquiries from the sales team regarding commission payouts and discrepancies.
  1. Reporting & Analytics
  • Update and maintain weekly/monthly key performance dashboards in Tableau.
  • Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests to support business decisions (e.g., pipeline health, win rates, churn analysis).
  • Monitor data integrity across reports to ensure stakeholders trust the numbers.
  • Help scope and build a trusted reporting suite across the business
  1. Tech Stack & Data Hygiene
  • Perform regular data cleansing and auditing within Salesforce and Excel to prevent "data decay."
  • Assist in documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs) for system usage.
What We’re Looking For (The Must-Haves)
  • Education/Experience: 0-2 years of experience in an Analyst, Finance, or Operations role.
  • Business Intelligence Tool Proficiency: Demonstrated experience building or maintaining visualizations in Tableau. You should know how to connect data sources and create clean, readable charts and design dashboards. Other tools are useful, but Tableau is preferred.
  • Excel/Google Sheets Wizardry: You are comfortable with heavy lifting in Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Index/Match, Pivot Tables are second nature to you).
  • System Savvy: Familiarity with CRM structures (Salesforce preferred) and common SaaS tools (Slack, G-Suite). You pick up new software quickly.
  • Commissions Experience: Previous exposure to managing or calculating commission plans, variable compensation, or complex payroll structures.
  • Understand SaaS Business KPI’s: ACV/ARR, conversion rates, deal cycles, GDR/NDR, etc.
The "Nice-to-Haves"
  • SQL Knowledge: Ability to write basic queries to pull your own data rather than relying on pre-built reports.
  • RevOps Context: Prior experience working specifically within a Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or SaaS Finance function.
Soft Skills That Will Make You Successful
  • High Attention to Detail: You double-check your numbers because you know that accuracy builds trust (especially when calculating people's pay!).
  • Curiosity: You don't just update a report; you ask why the numbers changed.

Scrappy: At a fast paced organization like Cobalt we need team members who can get the job done without having everything perfect.

Why You Should Join Us
  • Grow in a passionate, rapidly expanding industry operating at the forefront of the Pentesting industry
  • Work directly with experienced senior leaders with ongoing mentorship opportunities
  • Earn competitive compensation and an attractive equity plan
  • Save for the future with a 401(k) program (US) or pension (EU)
  • Benefit from medical, dental, vision and life insurance (US) or statutory healthcare (EU)
  • Leverage stipends for:
    • Wellness
    • Work-from-home equipment & wifi
    • Learning & development
  • Make the most of our flexible, generous paid time off and paid parental leave
Pay Range Disclosure (For US openings only)
