Your Mission:

We are looking for a Revenue Operations Manager, Deal Desk to support and scale our B2B SaaS sales motion by owning the commercial review, structuring, and execution of customer deals. This role sits at the center of our quote-to-order workflow, partnering closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, Billing, and RevOps to ensure deals are structured for speed, compliance, and predictable recurring revenue.

You will bring strong judgment around standard SaaS contracts vs. custom commercial terms, knowing when to prioritize standardization for scale and when customization is commercially justified for strategic customers. Success in this role means enabling Sales to close deals faster while protecting pricing discipline, reducing downstream friction, and ensuring clean handoffs to Billing and Renewals.

Reporting into the Senior Manager of Revenue Operations, this individual contributor role is part of AfterShip’s global RevOps team.

This is a remote position that involves collaboration with cross-regional teams in Asia and Europe and may require flexibility to work outside standard business hours; candidates based in the U.S. Pacific Time Zone are preferred.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the review and structuring of B2B SaaS subscription deals across new business, renewals, expansions, and multi-year agreements.
  • Advise Sales on when to use standard SaaS contracts versus custom commercial terms, applying sound business judgment based on deal size, risk, and long-term value.
  • Manage the end-to-end quote-to-order process using HubSpot and DealHub, ensuring pricing, terms, and approvals are accurate and complete.
  • Partner with Legal to coordinate contract redlines, approvals, and execution through DocuSign IAM.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Sales, Legal, Finance, Billing, and RevOps, keeping deals moving efficiently.
  • Define and enforce deal desk SLAs, approval frameworks, and escalation paths to support predictable deal velocity.
  • Identify patterns in deal exceptions and drive improvements to standard contracts, pricing rules, and CPQ workflows.

Qualifications:

  • 4–6+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Commercial Operations within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Proven experience supporting subscription-based revenue models, including annual and multi-year contracts, renewals, and expansions.
  • Strong working knowledge of standard SaaS contract structures and common customization areas (pricing, billing terms, termination, SLAs).
  • Demonstrated ability to apply business judgment when evaluating custom contract requests, balancing speed, risk, and long-term revenue impact.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort managing multiple concurrent deals in a fast-paced SaaS sales environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence partnering with Sales, Legal, and Finance.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • HubSpot
    • DealHub
    • DocuSign IAM (preferred)

Soft Skills:

  • Strong commercial judgment with a bias toward practical solutions.
  • Ability to influence without authority.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and scaling processes as the business grows.
  • Collaborative, calm under pressure, and trusted by cross-functional partners.
