CBR is seeking an experienced and passionate Freelance Film Reviewer to cover the Sundance Film Festival. This opportunity is ideal for a critic who is already planning to attend Sundance and would like to publish timely reviews for a large digital audience.

Your Responsibilities 

  • Watch assigned (or mutually agreed-upon) Sundance films.
  • Produce thoughtful, original and timely reviews. 
  • Adhere to CBR’s editorial standards.
  • Work under tight deadlines and submit tasks on time.

Requirements

  • Rotten Tomatoes-approved critic status is mandatory. 
  • Must already be attending Sundance on their own and have valid access (press, industry or ticket package).
  • Demonstrated experience in film reviews or entertainment journalism
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines during the festival
