CBR is seeking an experienced and passionate Freelance Film Reviewer to cover the Sundance Film Festival. This opportunity is ideal for a critic who is already planning to attend Sundance and would like to publish timely reviews for a large digital audience.
Your Responsibilities
- Watch assigned (or mutually agreed-upon) Sundance films.
- Produce thoughtful, original and timely reviews.
- Adhere to CBR’s editorial standards.
- Work under tight deadlines and submit tasks on time.
Requirements
- Rotten Tomatoes-approved critic status is mandatory.
- Must already be attending Sundance on their own and have valid access (press, industry or ticket package).
- Demonstrated experience in film reviews or entertainment journalism
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines during the festival
