We are looking for an experienced RF engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and optimization of wireless communication systems. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and validating RF propagation models, analyzing coverage and capacity, and supporting network planning activities. This role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge wireless technologies and collaborate with diverse engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and calibrate RF propagation models for various wireless deployments.
- Perform propagation studies across Wi-Fi, 5G NR, and NTN bands, evaluating path loss, fading, and atmospheric effects.
- Conduct wireless coverage predictions and heatmap generation for diverse scenarios.
- Analyze RF coverage and perform capacity planning for industrial, campus, and mission-critical systems.
- Model and optimize end-to-end throughput performance under different RF conditions.
- Design wireless networks to meet coverage, capacity, and throughput objectives.
- Build and maintain simulation environments for propagation analysis, utilizing various modeling techniques.
- Conduct field surveys, analyze measurement data, and validate propagation models.
- Develop automation tools and scripts for RF analysis and data visualization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including RF design, systems engineering, and product development.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Telecom/Wireless Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics.
- 5+ years of experience in RF engineering, propagation modeling, or wireless network planning.
- Strong expertise in electromagnetic wave propagation, RF fundamentals, and antenna theory.
- Proficiency in Python and MATLAB for programming and analytics.
- Experience with wireless technologies: Wi-Fi, 5G NR, NTN, and mission-critical systems.
- Knowledge of RF planning tools and GIS mapping systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with geospatial analysis, digital terrain modeling, and LiDAR-based propagation analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex RF data.
- Excellent technical communication and documentation abilities.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams and customer-facing roles.
