Job Description

The RIA Regional Consultant, (Internal Wholesaler) in partnership with a Regional Director, will be responsible for sales, support, and service of our Financial Intermediary partners in their assigned region associated with Brookfield Oaktree Wealth Solutions. The investment vehicles include open/closed-end private funds, non-traded REIT, Interval Funds, BDCs, DSTs and Mutual Funds.  The position is channelized calling on RIAs and multi-family offices.  The Regional Consultant is responsible for supporting major markets and directly managing secondary markets within their Region with a client-centric, sales driven approach to the marketplace. The Regional Consultant’s performance is measured by gross fund flows, assets under management, sales activities, client expansion and retention, and broader team contribution to the National sales effort.

Responsibilities:

• Build Relationships with RIA firms and multi-family offices through high-quality, pro-active interactions.

• Ability to articulate Brookfield Oaktree Wealth Solutions sophisticated products.

• Handle daily territory management tasks to ensure business efficacy and effective prioritization of resources.

• Utilize the CRM system to log all client activity.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Passion for Capital markets and Alternative Investments.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Economics, Finance, or related field.

• 3 years minimum experience as an internal sales associate in financial services industry.

• Series 7 and 63 Licensed.

• CAIA, MBA, CFA a plus.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Highly organized, proactive, and resourceful.

• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and results orientation.

Travel:

• The position is NYC based and minimal travel is required.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000

Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designations.
