What you’ll do

• Lead and manage a team of quantitative software engineers, providing daily guidance, direction, and support.

• Partner with Risk Management and other stakeholders to develop high quality quantitative risk and performance analytics.

• Build a scalable analytics framework capable of processing terabytes of data for complex calculations, including market and factor risk, exposures, stress testing, performance metrics, and capital allocation.

• Apply creative and unique solutions to solve complex problems.


What’s required

• 10+ years of experience in analytics or quantitative engineering with at least 4 years managing a team of quantitative software developers.

• Training in computer science, math, physics or a related technical field.

• Strong understanding of equity factor models, such as MSCI Barra, Axioma, and/or Bloomberg, and their construction and application.

• Experience modeling and developing analytics for a variety of financial instruments.

• Hands-on development skills in Python and other high level programming languages.

• Experience with modern data and analytics technologies, including cloud platforms, distributed computing, and databases.

• Problem solving skills with deep understanding of core computer science algorithms and data structures.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The annual base salary range for this role is $200,000-$350,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
