We are looking for an experienced and motivated RN Nurse Manager to join our growing team in Williamsville, NY.

RN Nurse Manager position details:

This is a Full Time salaried day shift position. Rotating on-call availability is required. This position is eligible for a recruitment and retention bonus. 

RN Nurse Manager job duties include:

  • Review the care requirements of each resident admitted to the community and assist in planning for the resident’s care.
  • Review resident care needs and physician’s orders.
  • Participate in the development of a written plan of care (preliminary and comprehensive) for each resident that identifies the problems/needs of the resident and that indicates the care to be given, goals to be accomplished, and which professional service is responsible for each element of care.
  • Provide guidance and training for new staff, as well as completing probationary and annual reviews for select staff members.
  • Review complaints and grievances made by the resident, families, and/or visitors and make oral/written reports indicating which action(s) were taken to resolve the complaint or grievance.
  • Ensure that all staff, residents, visitors, etc., follow established safety regulations including fire protection/prevention, smoking regulations, infection control, and appropriate dress code.

Qualifications

RN Nurse Manager qualifications: 

  • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in New York State.
  • Must have, as a minimum, 3-5 years of experience as an RN Nurse Manager in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related healthcare facility.
  • Must have training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
  • Electronic medical records experience is preferred.
  • Must be CPR and first aid certified. 
  • Must have verbal and written English skills.
