Job Description:
We seek a detail-oriented, highly analytical BI Senior Analyst to join our finance team. The senior analyst will assist in driving the building of SAP Analytics Cloud Planning Models and Dashboards- closely coordinating with business partners of the functions- to source requirements and timelines. This role is critical to the development and enhancement of the SAC Planning Applications to enable the functionality and set of features that the business needs to effectively plan its financials. The ideal candidate should have strong financial modeling skills, knowledge of SAC Advanced Formulas, Javascript, and a solution mindset.

A successful Senior Analyst should be detail-oriented, and have a strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify and strengthen areas of business risks. They should help develop and maintain the effective models and supporting data actions (completeness and accuracy) and adapt to business needs/strategic and growth mindset. This requires a lot of diligence and an attitude to take on new tasks while being solution-oriented.
Responsibilities
- Strong experience and deep technical understanding of SAP Analytics Cloud (Planning models, specifically) in addition to technical and application knowledge expertise of SAC.
- Design and develop data actions, multi actions, and calendar schedules for Planning models across Revenue, Opex, Capex, and HR/Headcount
- Develop Workforce (HR) Planning & Driver-based Revenue Planning models
- Strong understanding of data load procedures for planning inputs, company drivers, and importing transaction data from SAP S/4 system and SAP HANA databases
- Communicate effectively with FP&A team members to understand their needs, educate them on how SAC works, show them what is possible, and be transparent in your timelines to complete tasks
- Performing data validation and data quality checks
- Drive mission-critical financial reporting and analytics (planning, forecasting, budgeting, monthly & quarterly variance analysis, etc.) for a large company
- Ensure standard reports are produced & available as per stipulated timelines across all the verticals/business units.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness at all times
- Partner with business teams on delivering analytics through dashboards, data, and insights to drive key business decisions and support negotiations
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated work style, attention to detail, effective communicator
- Ability to organize multiple responsibilities and deliver results in an accurate and timely manner while adapting to changes in priorities
- Ability to influence and strategically partner with individuals of various educational and technical backgrounds, both inside and outside the organization
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and present data
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure
- Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and follow-up skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Analytics/Computer Science/Data Analysis field is required.
- Prior Finance (5 years minimum) FP&A/modeling/reporting experience
- 3 years minimum experience with SAP Analytics Cloud planning experience is required (Workforce Planning, Expense Planning, Revenue Planning)
- Sound fundamentals on financial knowledge, analytical/data modeling ability, and sound understanding of the media ecosystem including some understanding of Nielsen’s products and services

A reasonable estimate of salary range for a new employee to be offered this role would be $100,000 - $300,000 which would be adjusted based on each employee's geographic location.
